The Báb

Herald of the Bahá’í Faith

This book tells the story of the Báb in simple terms with delightful colour illustrations. It has been written for children aged 5 to 7 but can also be used with children who are older or younger than this. It includes some suggested activities which should complement the story, plus a very brief introduction to the Bahá’í Faith which may be helpful for parents or teachers. Ideal for families, children’s classes and for schools. There is a companion book on Bahá’u’lláh.

About Christine Abbas

Christine Abbas lives in the south Wales valleys with her husband Rafi Abbas. She has four children all over 21 years of age. Her father-in-law was a Knight of Bahá'u'lláh for the Seychelles. She is keenly interested in literature for younger children, and has published two books on "The Báb" and "Bahá'u'lláh", written specifically for use with Key Stage 1 children (5-7 year-olds) in British schools. In late 2018, she gave permission to Warwick Bahá’í Bookshop to bring these books back into print.
